Rosy finch is a new band born of three components that were part of Milton. Group members wanted to build a heavier and intense sound so they decided to keep playing because they love rocking together. The most significant influences of this band are grunge, alternative rock, stoner, and the riot grrrls movement from 90's. They have recorded their first EP titled "Wolves Waiting" which is now available on CD and online.

Their name comes from a bird that lives in the mountains "Sandia" located in New Mexico. Their feathers are black and pink and live in protected areas such as openings in cliffs, mine shafts, caves, and rafters. The most curious feature is that the male will defend its female's territory where ever she goes.
Their call is a buzz-sounding "chew".
