Ай, какая прелесть! Дум-дарк-блек высочайшей пробы. Anicent Wisdom – пожалуй, одна из наименее именитых скандинавских one-man bands. Образованная в середине 90-х Маркусом Норманном, все эти годы группа шла к этому альбому сквозь посредственный и заурядный медлительный блек и сатанизм. Компоненты творения остались теми же что и прежде, но качество возросло многократно. Музыка приобрела думовый мрак и угнетающий мелодизм, а люциферопоклонничество зазвучало по-новому, завернутое в поэтические свитки архаического английского. Блековые скоростные барабанные сессии исчезли как пережиток прошлого. Упал темп, и, как следствие, значительно возросла роль синтезаторов и, особенно, клавишных. Согласно традиции, Маркус сам сыграл на всех инструментах и сам написал всю лирику (за исключением последней, фортепьянной пьесы). Плюс, стильно оформленный буклет. В альбоме чувствуются слабые веяния спящего астральным сном Тиамата – присутствует темный мечтательный оттенок. Приговор: Необходимый элемент коллекции для бывалых любителей дума. Брать однозначно. Хотя бы для ознакомления. |
