 Ждал этого альбома с нетерпением. С тех самых пор, когда появилось первое творение Warmen, группы созданной клавишником – виртуозом Janne Warman’ом из финской блек группы Children of Bodom. Не знаю уж какие там отношения в группе, но вполне очевидно, что Alexi Laiho – лидер COB – творить молодому кнопкодаву Janne не даёт. Результат – появ-ление новой самобытной группы. Было ясно уже по первому альбому, что Janne Warman если и не создал новый стиль, то, по крайней мере, музыка группы не будет похожа ни на что ра-нее существовавшее. По сути, стиль Warmen можно охарактеризовать как инструментальный рок с наличием очень мягких и приятных клавишных.
Второй альбом, Beyond Abilities, полностью подтвердил ранее сказанное и оправдал ожидания. В его состав вошло одиннадцать песен, музыка для которых была написана War-man’ом в соавторстве с басистом группы L. Porra и гитаристом A. Warman’ом. При просмотре буклета сразу бросается в глаза увеличение количества песен с вокалом. На первом альбоме, Unknown Soldier, их было всего две, теперь же аж пять. При этом две песни спела Kimberly Goss, замеченная в сотрудничестве с Janne на первом альбоме, другие две – (барабанная дробь) Timo Kotipelto, солист Stratovarius, последнюю – некий P. Nykanen.
Остальные шесть песен - чистые инструменталки. |

Второй сольник Вирмена оправдал свои ожидания - такой же качественный и красивый, как первый. Единственным минусом, на мой взгляд, является большое количество песен. Все-таки прелесть Unknown soldier'а была именно в интрументальности, а тут похоже просто на сборник разных финских запевал. Продолжение саги о Сальери не получилось, а вот темы War Of Worlds и Finale на редкость красивы. Из песен интересны Spark с Главным Стратовариусом и Alone с Незабвенной Кимберли. Хороший альбом для релаксации после брутальности. :) |
