The band Voices Of Decay was founded by Lukas and Christoph as a pure death metal band in 1997. After a first Demo CD the band recorded a full-length studio album in 1999. “Nocturnal Domain” got good reviews in music magazines such as Rock Hard and Ablaze and was a convincing Black-Metal album. Due label problems the following record took some time and so the EP “Doing Maximum” wasn’t published until winter 2005. The band formation changed and so does the music style. In 2010 a new album was recorded, mixed and mastered by guitarist Lukas Flarer at the Soundcontrol studio. The 11 tracks on the record - titled “Overcome” - contain typical trademarks but include also different influences and some very heavy parts. The songs are more powerful, aggressive, melodic and rich in variety than ever before.
