Он знаком рок-аудитории по альбому SAXON "Destiny" и ряду работ OLIVER/DAWSON SAXON, включая 'Re:Landed' и 'It's Alive'. Мы очень рады репетировать с ним, подготавливать текущий материал для концертов и новые песни для студийной записи.
Мы с оптимизмом смотрим в новую эру вместе с Melodic Revolution Records, где выйдет наша новая работа, и с присоединением к нам Nigel'a мы уже голодны до подвигов!"
Nigel: "C нетерпением жду, когда запущу свои зубы в MORPHEUS RISING!"

A five piece, twin guitar band in the classic mould of British Heavy Rock with a touch of Prog, Goth, Thrash and the US metal/rock scene thrown in. The New Wave of British Heavy Metal dragged kicking and screaming into the new millennium. NWoBHM The Next Generation!?
With a distinctive style heavily informed by bands such as Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden and Alter Bridge, Morpheus Rising produce an energetic show which will keep the old guard happy and show the new generation how it?s done. Central to the band?s sound is the classic twin guitar partnership coupled with Simon Wright?s dynamic and powerful, classic rock vocal. From the anthemnic NWoBHM rock of Lord of the North, to the lighter Those Who Watch, this is a band who will not disappoint.
The band?s first album, Let The Sleeper Awake was released in late 2011 and the band toured across the UK in 2012. The critically acclaimed album was regularly featured by Johnny Doom on Kerrang Radio, Shane Carlson on ARfm, Tony Corner on Firebrand Radio, and elsewhere. Features in Classic Rock Prog, Classic Rock Society magazine and cover mount CDs led to sales across Europe, Asia and North America.
2013 saw the band supporting Panic Room?s UK summer tour, with Henry Rogers (DeeExpus / Touchstone) on filling in on drums for the tour after the departure of original drummer Paul Gibbons. Guitarist Pete Harwood worked double duties on this outing as dep guitarist for Panic Room as well as half the guitar partnership at Morpheus Rising.
In August 2013 the band signed to Melodic Revolution Records in the USA, the start of a new era for the band, and Nigel Durham (ex Saxon and Oliver/Dawson Saxon) joined the band as a full time member.
Work is well underway on the as yet untitled new album, the live set is beginning to feature songs shortlisted for this release as the year unfolds!
