A Light In The Dark was formed somewhere in March 2012, but the first EP "Disharmony" was written before this project. After this EP first full-length album was released in May, showing a different way of mood.
As for the name, it means that the project was created to bring hope (i.e. light) to a sad life.
Musically I don't try to fit in any genre and I write what I like. But anyway I decided to call it melancholic metal/atmospheric rock (this decision was made based on 1st album). There also can be some elements of black metal (only musically and never lyrically!), but not that much really.
I'm releasing my music for free on this page, because I just love music and I'm writing it for myself...however I think it's good to share it with everyone :)
The project is closed since January 14 2014.
Project was revived for one week in the end of August 2015. Some of the songs from the albums were rerecorded in a new quality + was recorded one song from the unfinished archives of 2012.
