Exhumer were born in 2004 from the will of Marco “Furiogrind” Aromatario, an Italian underground death metal scene guitarist (ex - Natron, ex - Mutala, ex - Penis Leech, ex – Urshurark, ex – Requiem K626 and ex – Stench of Dismemberment. Actually in Corpsefucking Art) since years. The starting line-up, formed by Fiore Stravino (Ex – Necrophilism, Ex - The Cock is 29 and actually in Still in Da Game) at the voice, Marco Aromatario at the guitar, Vito Laterza at the bass and Vlady Fumaroli (Ex Reality Grey, ex – Infecthead) as drummer, registered in the October 2004, the first demo of the band, named “Sick & Deviance”. Some tracks, from this demo cd, took part to some underground extreme music compilations, as “Register of Zombie Vol. 2” and “Mal The Core Compilation”. The Exhumer maintained constant their live activity in the years. In 2006 Vlady Fumaroli was substituted at the drums from Antonio Donadeo (actually jazz drummer, but he took part to Italian death metal bands as Traitor, Undertakers, Necrotorture e Stillness Blade, playing in live sessions with bands as Vital Remains and Dechristianize) and with the arrival of Alyosha Danisi (Ex – Natron) at the bass in substitution of Vito Laterza, the new line-up registered at “Jolly Roger Studio” the first full-length of the band, named “Bloodcurdling Tool of Digestion”, in the period of October/November of the same year. This album received encouraging and positives critical, that made this album one of the top album in the genre of 2007. In 2009 Vlady Fumaroli came back to the drums, after the Antonio Donadeo Leaving. In that same year Exhumer supported Impaled Nazarene in their Italian tour. At the beginning of 2010 Michele Ursini (Human Slaughterhouse) took part to the line-up, replacing Fiore Stravino at the vocals. With this new line-up, the band affronted his first European tour gaining approvals and taking part to some festivals in Germany, Swiss and Austria. In the years exhumer played at events as Tattoo Death Fest and Faust Extreme Fest. Exhumer are now committed in the composition of new tracks for the next full-length and in the organization of new tours and live activity.
