The Beyond was started in early 2010 by Danny Starkiller (ex-Algol frontman), blending old school norwegian black metal with harsh crust punk. They released a split cd, a split 7" vinyl, and played several various shows all across the US with the original 3 piece line-up. In late 2011, The Beyond went through some line-up changes, leaving them with their current 4 piece line-up-Danny Starkiller-vocals, rhythm/lead guitar, Cray Cray-lead/rhythm (ex-Algol guitarist), R:W-bass (ex-Algol bassist), Lucas-drums (of Horde of the Eclipse). Since the line-up change, The Beyond have played several more shows, opening for various well known underground acts such as Horna, Kommendant, etc. In late 2012 they went into the studio to record their first full length album, which was the first recording with the current line-up. The Beyond continues to write/record new material and play out live.
