Rock vocalist Bob Mitchell and Guitarist "DZ" forged an alliance a few years back and wrote some great music together, however the time was not right for the band to move forward. Bob had co-founded the band soon after his departure from his former band Attacker.

After Bob's departure from his previous band he felt as though the band was formed on the rebound and decided to take some time away from the music business only to return in 2011 with his legendary Band Sleepy Hollow. Which is currently experiencing great success.
Based on that, Bob felt it was now time to finish what was started years ago and that is to share its brand of Power Metal music that it believes in. So now in 2012, a new band, a new beginning.
Mind Assassin's music, at this time, can best be described as being in the tradition of American Hard Rock and Heavy Metal following in the steps of Savatage, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple and Atomic Rooster.
The band is currently working on its debut album and are looking forward to the release of its full length record in 2013.
As it stands, the fate of Mind Assassin is now in the hands of the Metal God's!
