Suicidal Ride refers to itself as a heavy metal-flavoured hard rock band. Therefore you may hear influences from bands like Motörhead, Sentenced, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Sabbath and Disturbed. New song ideas come from Lauri and Valtteri. Sami and Jones add their magic groove into new songs, and that’s how the unique sound of Suicidal Ride comes alive.

Suicidal Ride was formed in spring 2011 by Lauri, Sami and Valtteri. In the beginning the band had two vocalists, Tiia and Arttu, but they chose to go to another direction at very early point, and so Valtteri took their place as a lead vocalist. At winter 2012 Jones (former Dark Future guitarist) joined the band to fill bass players’ boots.
The first demo was recorded and released in spring 2012. The demo includes three songs: “3 Minutes to Damnation”, “Burn with Me” and “Fuck You!”.
During 2013 Suicidal Ride focused mostly on live shows, performing both in Jyväskylä in Lutakko at the Metal From Finland event and in Ravintola Ihana, and outside their home city in places such as Turku, Uurainen and Kerava.
The band entered the studio in October 2013 to record their debut album, which is planned to be released in 2014, and started the shootings for a music video for the song “Fuck You!”.
