FORGOTTEN HORROR is a Black / Death Metal band from Kuopio, Finland, formed in January 2004 by Tuomas Karhunen (DEATHCHAIN, JESS AND THE ANCIENT ONES).
At the end of 2006, Kassara (DEATHCHAIN, TROLLHEIM'S GROTT, BAPTISM) joined the band as the drummer and in the following year, Demo 2007 was released and sold out fast.
After the demo, Corpse (DEATHCHAIN, WINTERWOLF, DEMILICH, JESS AND THE ANCIENT ONES) joined the ranks as the bass player and in 2009 the band began recording the first full-lenght.
The debut album, entitled "THE SERPENT CREATION", was released by WOODCUT RECORDS in September 2011 and it received a good response from the media (4/5 Terrorizer etc.) and the band filmed a nasty music video of the title track as well.
So far the band has only played two gigs, a successfull album release gig in 2011 and a devastating live ritual in Hammer Open Air 2012 (w/ Deströyer 666, Marduk, Sólstafir, Asphyx, Root, Gehennah, Necrophobic, Jess and the Ancient Ones etc. etc.).
It's time for the second Lilithian summoning, you will definitely hear more from FORGOTTEN HORROR during 2013! New album, new music video and new gigs are being prepared, expect something you haven't seen before!
