This musical project was founded in Poland, year 2008, by Wojciech "Czyżyk" Czyżewski under the name Silence of Death, then changed to Iumenta in 2010, due to the name got associated with other bands. Several musicians from the local metal scene was involved in Silence of Death/Iumenta such as:

The founder, Wojciech "Czyżyk" Czyżewski (now relocated in Norway), has put together musicians to resurrect this project as IUMENTA. Putting together tunes and beats from a Container in Bryne, the music will soon be revealed.
