Can you create landscapes with music? At first glance an impracticable idea, but once one has listened to The Soulscape Project's debut album Liberation nothing seems impossible any longer. What had been a vague idea when M. Delastik founded The Soulscape Project in 2012 and what had been indicated by the release of The Lifeless EP in September 2013, has been realised two years later with the debut album Liberation. The Soulscape Project make soulscapes of the most different shapes and colours rise in front of their audience's inner eye. The harmony of real and imagined landscapes get caught and channelled into the five Liberation songs. Their colour palette is formed by various musical elements that join in a refreshingly unconventional way in the five songs. Whether Jazz, Prog., Post, Black or Death Metal elements - everything flows together in harmony. Even the sound art inspired parts unobtrusively underline the musical whole and carry off everyday sounds. With Liberation, The Soulscape Project adds a new inner-visual level to their music.
