Quaoar was born in April 2002. Nowadays Quaoar is: Josu (Guitars), Hugo (Guitars and backing vocals), Jauke (Bass Guitar), Bjorn (Drums) and Iñigo (vocals). Quaoar’s influences are wide and go from the progressive of Opeth, Porcupine Tree or Tool, to the classic rock of Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd, passing through Pearl Jam, Jeff Buckley, etc… His style is a mixture of Grunge from America’s 90’s and progressive rock from the beggining of 70’s, all this with a touch of Metal. Since Quaoar completed his final formation in 2006, the band has offered several shows in Vizcaya and its surroundings. The group has just edited his first work called “MAN’t”. This word is a concept the band created, the combination of MAN and CAN’T. This represents the result of the frustration of Man. All that we could never achieve. Everything that you don’t wanna be, but however, you are. Now Quaoar is composing new songs for future works…
